Don’t be green with envy; register for the Frogger 15 before June 30 to get the discounted early bird registration price of $50.
The early bird price includes entry, as race shirt, finishing ribbon and a medal. Everyone who registers before June 30 will also be entered to win a marine adventure, courtesy of Discovery Marine Safaris.
The 2014 Frogger will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20. Starting and ending in Spirit Square, the running route winds through the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands.
If you don’t want to run the full 15 kilometres, then grab a couple of friends and make a relay team – dress up and you could win the fabulous Frogger competition for best costume! There will be range of activities for family and supporters.
The race is hosted in partnership with Greenways Land Trust, City of Campbell River, and the affiliated organizing committee – all proceeds support Greenways Land Trust, a local environmental charity. Last year the race raised close to $4,000 to support Greenways Land Trust’s work enhancing local green spaces, including the much loved Beaver Lodge Forest Lands.
