Over the years Campbell River has organized the event with great support from the community

The Terry Fox Run is only days away.

Over the years Campbell River has organized the event with great support from the community. The focus for the event is now moving towards family fun and an event that is not just for the run. People and families of all ages are welcome to attend the event and walk with a stroller, bike, roller blade, and mozy along with a friend, bring your kids, grandma and grandpa too.The new venue for this year’s event will make all forms of walkers and wheels feel welcome.  Starting at the Seawalk at Frank James Park (Willow Point), the Terry Fox Run will move north 2.5 kms to its turn around point at Rotary Beach Park. Many improvements have been made to the pathway, making ease of use for people and kids in strollers, kids biking, and people walking and jogging.

The event is free to attend, there will be snacks and plenty of water. You’re invited to come down and enjoy a walk along Campbell River’s Seawalk.  Registration is from 9-10 a.m., Sunday; with the event starting at 10 a.m.
