The Campbell River Altrusa Club has a mission – to care for its community, its children and its needs.
The club most recently helped the Campbell River Hospital Foundation with a donation towards a birthing bed for the Maternity Department at Campbell River Hospital.
Maternity birthing beds are designed to help ensure that moms have the best possible birthing experience; the bed offers outstanding patient comfort, flexible support features, simple operation and improved mobility.
The Campbell River Altrusa Club raises funds through sales of evergreen floral swags, woven Afghans and the club’s annual Movie Night.
