Ablaze Metalart is a finalist for the 12th Annual Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards.

Ablaze Metalart creates high quality handcrafted metal art since October of 2006.

The style and design of their product is diverse and includes authentic native/aboriginal art, natural beauty, wildlife, domestic animals, and water life created in many different sizes, primarily made from 1/16th - ¼ inch black steel or aluminum (stainless steel, copper and brass may also be available).

The art is available as wall hangings, free standing, 2D, 3D art and signage in different finishes, such as: silver, bronze, gold, multi-coloured or painted, giving the flexibility to further customize to individual tastes.

Affordable versions of popular silhouettes to fit different decor’s are also accessible. They also create custom (commissioned) artwork,  meeting customer requirements.

Their mission is to create innovative pieces for consumers to use and beautify both the inside and outside of their homes, businesses and/or gardens.

Their art work is shipped all over the world, including the USA, England, Scotland, France, Sweden, Australia, Italy, and New Zealand, to name a few.

The art line can also be used as  security insets for windows and doors; insets for gates, fireplace screens, doors & windows screens and much more.

Their home-based studio/gallery is located at 177 Crawford Road in Campbell River.

Ablaze Metal Art & Design is and has been a member of the following organizations: Pearl Ellis Gallery, Comox Valley Home-Based Business Association (CVHBBA), Campbell River Arts Council, CV Chamber of Commerce, CV Arts Council. Sandra & Walter display their pieces in art & trade shows throughout Vancouver Island as well as in art, décor & gift retail outlets. Two Eagles B&B Lodge & La Pause B&B also display their art work to visiting patrons.

Sandra and Walter Moses (through Ablaze MetalArt) have also donated art pieces for fundraisers and door prizes to: the associations listed above, plus Ducks Unlimited, CV Custom Cars Association, CV Bowling League, BC Guide Dog Services, Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society, among others.
