A Storied Brunch fundraiser for NISHS

The Storied Brunch is a gourmet brunch buffet accompanied by a healthy dose of heartwarming stories

A sixth annual Storied Brunch is happening in Herons at the Heriot Bay Inn on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m.

This beautiful Christmas tradition is a fundraiser for NISHS, the North Island Survivors’ Healing Society. The North Island Survivors’ Healing Society is based in Campbell River, serving Campbell River and Quadra Island residents. NISHS is a trauma and abuse counselling centre for men and women.

The Storied Brunch is a gourmet brunch buffet accompanied by a healthy dose of heartwarming stories told by Quadra Island storytellers.

Listen to stories told by John Walton, Judy O’Dell, Maia Windrim, John Philips, Kris Wellstein, John Nursall, Julie Douglas and Margaret Verschuur.

As well, Kris Wellstein will sing and play some of her favourite folk songs.

A silent auction and raffle-for-all add to the delicious fun.

Brunch begins at 10:30; tickets are $34.95, reservations are strongly recommended.

Thirty per cent of every ticket is donated to NISHS.
