A Campbell River woman is the lucky winner of a contest held throughout B.C. and Alberta.
Karen Annand won a $1,000 Save-On Foods gift certificate through the company’s Darrell’s Deals promotion.
The contest, named after company president Darrell Jones, encourages listeners of various radio stations (locally, 97.3 The Eagle) to phone in when they hear the weekly Darrell’s Deals keyword.
Weekly winners were selected over the last 16 weeks and awarded with $75 gift cards. Monthly winners were given $1,000 gift certificates and Annand was the lucky winner for July.
Darrell’s Deals wrapped up on Thursday and a grand prize winner of a trip for four to Honolulu, Hawaii will be announced.
