The Awad brothers, Mohammed and Khaled, spent many years working in salons and barbershops in their home country in the Middle East, honing their skills in the grooming industry.
When they arrived in Canada in 2019, they were eager to continue their craft, but their closed work permits initially prevented them from pursuing their passion. However, after obtaining their permanent status, they were finally able to achieve their goal of opening their own business.
With a combined 15 years of experience, the brothers launched Aura Salon, a family-owned establishment dedicated to expert barbering services. Specializing in precision haircuts, beard trims, and traditional grooming techniques, they bring their refined skills and attention to detail to every client who walks through the door.
Complementing their work, Mohammad’s wife, Meriam, manages all other beauty services at Aura Salon. With four years of experience, she offers professional hairstyles and cuts, makeup, waxing, facials, and other beauty treatments, ensuring a full range of self-care options for clients.
Their mission is to provide top-quality services while building strong connections within the community. Aura Salon is more than just a business—it is a testament to their passion, hard work, and commitment to sharing their talents with Campbell River.
