Team swims to silver

The Campbell River synchronized swim teams took part in regionals April 12-13 in Vancouver.

Owl Mulholland, Caleb Haugen, Sarah Haugen, Anna Haugen and Sydney McInnes took fourth place in the Recreational Team Division.

In individual figures they placed: Haugen, 10th; McInnes, 14th; Anna Haugen, 15th; Mulholland, 18th; and Sarah Haugen, 19th.

The Provincial Stream Team Level 3 of Megan Hancock, Anna Pehrsson, Devon Rodgers, Sidney Demuth and Rachel Enns placed second overall.

Individually they placed: Rodgers, second place; Enns, 6th; Demuth, 11th; Pehrsson, 13th; and Hancock, 14th.

The Provincial Team will compete in Victoria at the provincial championships May 23-25. The year-end show takes place at Strathcona Gardens on May 10, 9 a.m.

Everyone is invited to come and check out the local synchronized swim teams.
