Fun on the run: The stormy weather on Saturday may have shut down the ferries but it did not deter members of the River Runner Association from coming out for the Candy Cane Caper – a Fun Run which included donations for the Campbell River foodbank The run was followed by hot drinks, snacks, candy canes and trivia contests. Best costume was won by Erin Harrison and Kristina Wellard (above). Best waterproof face painting was won by Stephanie Hoffman.
