Wolves crowned area champions

The Area III Junior Girls Volleyball Championships were held this past weekend at Carihi, and the Timberline Wolves won the Area III Championship for the fourth year in a row.

Timberline went undefeated throughout the tournament and came from behind in both sets of the final to defeat Port Alberni 25-23, 25-21.

The girls are now the #1 north seed going into the North Island Championships November 12/13 in Parksville. Other teams that qualified for the North Island Championships are Brooks (Powell River), Port Alberni, and Mark R. Isfeld (Courtenay).
