Seeking Jim English’s relatives
I am seeking your readers help with my family tree research. My grandfather – James (Jim) Albert English immigrated to Canada in 1901.
He subsequently married twice and whilst I have found a lot of information re: his first marriage and the children from this marriage (which are my direct ancestors). I have struggled to find any meaningful information relating to his second marriage.
He married Margaret Marshall in 1921 and had two two children – Robert and E C Higgins (this information came from the Campbell River Courier archives). I know that he owned the Quinsam Hotel in Campbell River for a lot of years. He died in 1961.
Obviously it would be wonderful if I could make contact with any living relatives who may be able to help fill in the gaps for me.
Although I live in England (where he originated from) I am very keen to hear from any of my Canadian relatives.
