Mom passed away at Campbell River Hospital.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Kathryn (Zale), Doug, Debby(David) and Mike (Susan), and her grandchildren: Nicholas, Katelynn, Hilary and Alysha.
Predeceased by her brothers: Eric, Bill and Ken; sisters: Helen, Evelyn and Doris.
Mom was a longtime resident on the Island, growing up in Courtenay and living many, many years in Campbell River.
One of Mom’s enjoyable past times was her gardening. In the summertime her balcony was a colorful array of flowers. Mom also enjoyed spending time with her friends, shopping and visitin.
Mom devoted her life to raising her four chlidren. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She will be sadly missed.
Mom was a woman of strength whose life was shortened by cancer.
Mom has requested no service. She will be laid to rest with her mother at Courtenay Civic Cemetary.
