Bud passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital in the late evening on November 1, 2005.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Margaret, his daughters, Sharon and Lorraine(Don), grandchildren: Dwayne (Arlana), Dean (Stacey), Tammy (Barry) and Barb.
He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Alexis, Kennedy, Dylan, Kayla and Brooklyn and a brother, Daryle.
Bud was proud to have served overseas as a radio operator on a Halifax bomber with the RCAF during World War II.
After moving to Campbell River from Simoon Sound in 1964, Bud worked for the Dept. of Highways until his retirement in 1984.
The family would like to thank the staff of Yucalta Lodge for the loving care they have given Dad during the past year.

A Celebration of Bud’s Life will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 S. Dogwood Street, on Saturday November 12, 2005 at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Yucalta Lodge Auxiliary c/o 555 2nd Ave., Campbell River or the charity of your choice.
