Following a brief illness Valerie passed away peacefully in Campbell River General Hospital. She grew up in Vancouver BC before settling in Campbell River in 1935.
Predeceased in June 1962 by her husband Alexander (Scotty) Ross. Also predeceased in 1996 by her late husband Ernest Polglase and her son Alex Ross. Survived by her son Barry Ross, daughter-in-law Nerisa and grandson Jeric of Campbell River.
Many thanks to Dr. Carswell and to Dr. Uscavich (surgeon), Home Care, Care Givers & all other medical staff who assisted her. Special thanks to the nurses on 2nd & 3rd floors of Campbell River Hospital whose care and compassion was endless.
