The family of Torey Farrel William Knutson is sad to announce his sudden passing on August 2, 2016.
Torey was predeceased by his father Knut Knutson and mother Llewellya Knutson. He is survived by his wife Esther, sons Rustin (Tammy), and Caleb (Ashley), daughter Kendra; grandchildren, Calvin, Oscar, Yari, Oliver and Myra, his brother Larry (Lynn) Knutson, his sister Darlene (Burt) McPherson as well as many nieces and nephews.
Torey belonged to Sayward Burial Park as Treasurer and Maintenance Coordinator. He was a Fish Hatchery Technician at Grieg Seafood BC Ltd., Tow and Recovery Operator Highway Maintenance Driver as well as had many other occupations throughout his life.
Torey enjoyed working on anything that may have run at some point. He loved to talk to anyone and in turn could listen well. He would never leave anyone stranded. He made the best cheese cakes and loved, loved, loved his family.

A gathering of family and friends in celebration of Torey’s life will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2016 at 10am at the Sayward Heritage Hall.
