Steve died of cancer on June 11th , his loving wife, Vanda, at his side. Born in Comox in 1949, Steve lived an energetic and athletic life until a surgical mishap in 1988. Despite challenging complications continually arising from his resulting paraplegia, he became a landscape painter and fine guitarist. A warm and radiant personality, he will be missed.
