With deep sadness we announce the passing of Stanley James Ritchie. Born in Hamilton, Ontario he passed away
unexpectedly at Royal Jubilee Hospital in
Victoria, British
Columbia. Stan is
survived by his wife Joan; his son Dave (and his wife Lori), his daughter Leslie (and her husband Dave), his son Glen (and his wife
Jennifer); and his six grandchildren Brandon, Kelsey, Mercedes,
Madisson, Landon and Taryn. Stan will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his family. A get-together to remember Stan will be held at the Maritime Heritage Centre, 621
Island Highway,
Campbell River, BC at 3:00 pm on Sunday June 12, 2011. In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Stan’s name.
