Shirley Margaret Rosbak

March 9, 1929 - April 15, 2010


Shirley Margaret Rosbak passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 15, 2010 in Campbell River, B.C.


Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Harold, her sister Beth Chobotuck, her parents Edna (Gorby) and Russell Jordan. She is survived by her daughter Lorna (Floyd) Lewis, son Paul (Fiona) Rosbak, grandsons Steven Lewis, Luke (Jessica) Rosbak; granddaughters Angela (Jonathan) Cole, Karina (Josh) Fox; great grandchild Hazel Fox; brothers Milton (Donna) Jordan, Bill (Fran) Jordan, Ray Jordan, Douglas (Carol) Jordan; sisters Kathleen

(Bill) Vaughan, Fay (Ian) Macdonald, several neices and nephews. Shirley was the eldest of 8 children. She was born and raised at Kinistino, Saskatchewan. Shirley was a school teacher until she became a wife and mother. She enjoyed running the farm with Harold until their retire-

ment. Together they travelled to Norway and several times to New Zealand, settling in Prince Albert, Sask.


When her health started to decline, Shirley came to live with her daughter in Campbell River. Special thanks to Dr. DeBruin who always treated Shirley with kindness and respect. Thanks also to Home Support and Home Nursing staff, Jennifer and Mandy and staff of Evergreen Pharmacy,

Care Workers Shannon, Billie Jean, Nikki, Shirley, Hester, Gloria as well as help and encourage- ment by neighbours and friends.


A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall, 1935 Evergreen Road, Campbell River, B.C. Tea to follow at 52 McPhederan Road.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
