Sheila Winnifred Jenner

Sheila Winnifred Jenner (nee Mawhinny) passed away on March 6, 2010 in the Campbell River Hospital. Sheila was born on May 16, 1922 to Tom and Annie Mawhinny. She was the second baby born in the Red Cross Outpost Hospital which was ten miles north-west of where the village of Carragana, Saskatchewan later developed.
Sheila married Roydon Jenner, also of Carragana. For several years they operated a small mixed farm near Carragana. In 1961 they moved to Campbell River, British Columbia.
Throughout her entire life her passions were performing music and interacting with people in the many many organizations that she joined.
Sheila was predeceased by her husband Roydon. She is survived by two sons: Jerry (Emma) of La Ronge, SK and Robbin of Vancouver, BC, by two grandsons: Brendon (Joanne) of Canmore, AB and Kyle (Becky) of Calgary, AB, and by three great-grandsons.
