It is with sadness that the family of Susie announce her passing at age 77 on June 7, 2008. Our loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend will be sadly missed. Predeceased by her husband Elwood. Lovingly remembered by her son Bob Laekeman (Tammy), grandchildren Patti MacPheat (Jeff), Dan Laekeman (Stacy), James Laekeman, her 5 great grandchildren Sierra, Amaya, Caden Macpheat, Brooklyn, Raynah Laekeman and her dear friend Molly Francis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 2pm at Ironwood Place, 1351 Ironwood Street, Campbell River, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ironwood Place c/o Association for Community Living. Light refreshments to follow.
