RORY KEVIN CAMPBELL

July 15, 1966 - November 16, 2009

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our father, son, brother, uncle and love of my life, Rory Kevin Campbell.

Rory was a man that gave so much and asked nothing in return. Rory would never want people to mourn his passing, but to ‘celebrate’ his life and memory.

Rory’s passion for logging began at an early age working alongside his best friend and father Allan Campbell and has continued until present. During his years in the logging industry Rory felt blessed to know so many amazing people in all the various businesses he dealt with.

Rory’s passion and love for the game of hockey developed over the past 13 years as he watched his two wonderful children, Ryan and Samantha play in the Minor Hockey League. He could always be found on his ‘perch’ above the ice in the Multiplex where he thoroughly enjoyed watching all players of all calibers.

Rory was predeceased by his older brother ‘Allan Campbell’. Rory is survived by his son Ryan, daughter Samantha, best friend and wife Melenie as well as his parents Nell and Allan Campbell; brother Darren Campbell (Darlene), mother and father-in-law, Bev and Bill Cove, brothers-in-law: Danny Cove (Kim), Willy Cove (Terry); sister-in-law Tracy Coghlin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rory will be always remembered and deeply loved.

Please join us for a ‘Celebration of Rory Campbell at 2:00pm, Monday, November 23rd, 2009 at the Chapel Of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC. Reception to follow at the Italian Canadian Community Hall, 4050 6th Avenue, Port Alberni.
