MITCHELL, Robyn Lillian, passed away with her family at her side on Saturday December 6, 2008, after complications with pneumonia. Robyn was born on February 3, 1996, and left the loving care of her Foster mother Lydia Van Ek to be with her Lord and saviour. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Marion Randell and father Jeff Mitchell, foster sister’s Jennifer Yuen, Robyn Craig and Laura Tyrrell, as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. We are all rejoicing with her as she is finally playing, laughing, running and jumping. Robyn attended Victor St. School in grade seven, enjoyed church and music. Lydia and Robyn enjoyed many long drives together, often driving to Duncan via Port Renfrew. In her short life she touched many lives – she was loved by all who knew her. She is safe in the arms of Jesus. Memorial service will be held on December 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Elk Lake Baptist Church, 5349 Patricia Bay Hwy, Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to Victoria Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.
