With heavy hearts the family of Robert (Bob) Lewis announces his passing on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the age of 91.
He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Gladys “Jean”, brothers Jack and wife Betty, George and wife Corrine.
He is survived by his only son Steve and daughter-in-law Michelle, 3 grandsons Jordan (Kayla), Brenden ( Amanda Trace) and Aaron, two great-grandsons Jacob and Brantley, his youngest brother Dick as well as many nieces, nephews and an abundance of wonderful close and long time friends.
Affectionately know as Bob Papa and Great-Papa, he embraced life with great appreciation, a positive attitude and an unwavering sense of humour.
We would like to thank Dr. Coetzee, the ER Staff, 3rd floor nurses of C.R. Hospital and all who were involved in keeping him comfortable in his final hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the C.R. Shrine Club, Royal Canadian Legion or a charity of your choice.
A service will be held to celebrate Bob’s life and legacy on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Maritime Heritage Centre at 1:00pm.
