Rick Perkins passed away suddenly on November 22nd, 2005 in Campbell River, B.C. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his parents Jim and Lillian Perkins, his brother Roger, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Rick worked at many jobs — chef, floor layer and long distance truck driver which he greatly enjoyed because it allowed him to travel from Canada to Mexico and many places in between. In his leisure time he enjoyed building and using anything radio controlled. Rick was a dreamer, a very gentle, artistic and imaginative person. Despite going through pain because of illness, he was always a happy person. Rick loved his family very much and was greatly loved by them. A Memorial Service will be held at The Memorial Chapel of Elk Falls Crematorium at Elk Falls Memorial Cemetery (at the top of General Hill), Highway 28 on Wednesday, November 30th, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor John Overholt officiating.
