of Campbell River passed away suddenly in Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, age 49.


Predeceased by his mother Myra Louise Gark (nee Ordano) and by his nephew Clinton Kennedy; he is survived by his son Ryan Gark of Campbell River, by his father Raymond Marshall Gark Sr. and his step-mother Linda, by his first wife Lavenia White of Campbell River and by his second wife Marlene Schultz of Black Creek. Also survived by his sister Gail Kennedy and nephew Corey of Campbell River and by many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.


Les worked in the woods most of his life and he was a part time fisherman. He loved to play his guitar and sing and socialize, he was always "In the Mood". Special thanks to the doctors and nurses in Campbell River and in Victoria that attended to Les.


Service of Remembrance to Celebrate Les’ Life to be held on Tuesday, April 23, at 2:00 pm at the Church of The Way, 451 - 7th Ave., with Pastor Kent Rogers officiating. Service will be followed by a gathering of Les’ friends and family in the Church Reception Hall. ISLAND FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES #103 - 909 ISLAND HIGHWAY (GEORGIA QUAY) CAMPBELL RIVER entrusted with arrangements. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1423 - B 16th Avenue., Campbell River, BC V9W 2C4 would be appreciated.
