It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Evans announce that after a brief illness Pat passed away at home with her family at her side. She was an adored wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother and her loss leaves a space we can never fill. She will be remembered always for her kindness, patience, and nurturing. Pat is pre deceased by her parents Herbert and Christine Edmonds; brother Herbert Edmonds; son-in-law Sean Dorsett, and grandson Michael Evans. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert John Evans, Son Jim (Kathy) Evans, Daughters Catherine (Brian) Dunstan; Dianne (Davey) Charlton; Linda Dorsett; Jen Evans, Grandchildren, Crystal, Ben, Nick, Cheryl, Lisa, Ross, and Alex. Great grandchildren Sierra, Arianna, Ava Marie, and Rashad as well as her sister Sharon Boyce and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the palliative care nurses as well as Dr. Veerapen for their compassionate care. As per her request, a “high tea” will be held at the Maritime Heritage Centre in the Thulin Room at 3pm Sunday, August 27, 2017 Donations to the Red Cross in Pat’s memory would be deeply appreciated.
