Muriel passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness in Qualicum on October 19, 2002 at the age of 80 years.
Muriel was a longtime resident of Campbell River. She was predeceased by an infant daughter in 1960 and her husband Alex on October 25, 2001. On October 19th, 43 years ago, Muriel and alex were united in marriage. They are now again reunited after a brief separation.
Muriel is survived by her children, Don (Bev) of Beersville, N.B., Gary (Judy) of Riverview, N.B., Karen (Johnny) of Moncton, N.B., Cheryl (Craig), of Cochrane, AB. and Mark of Campbell River. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Many thanks to Dr. Brown, all the homecare workers through the years, the C.R. Hospital staff, Mary and Nick, the staff at Arranglen Gardens and friends.
No funeral by request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospital Foundation.
