Mary was born on March 10, 1916 in Sask. and passed away peacefully on November 12th at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her husband George in 1988 and daughters-in-law Jan Rancier and Theresa Woodworth in 2003.
Survived by sons: Everett, Doug and David(Woody) Woodworth; daughter Lynda(Chris) Burnett;grandchildren David Burnett and Amber and Kaitlyn Woodworth.
Mary’s strong faith, love of family and generosity did much to welcome all to her home, and especially her table. She became a secoond mom to many.
Special thanks to the hospital staff and home support workers.
Services on Friday, Nov. 18th -1:00p.m. at the new Seventh Day Adventist Church (4660 Headquarters Road). Viewing prior to service 12:00-12:45p.m. Reception following interment at Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Comox Valley Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road entrusted with arrangements.
