Passed away at home Monday October 20th. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Thomas and Anne Zeber (Komarno MB.) and Simon and Mary Flett (Winnipeg MB.) Also predeceased by her dad Beverly Amiens Flett (1979) and her husband David Coulter (2007).

She is survived by her mom Jean Flett, brothers Gord, Jerry and Bruce. Also, her son Dale Pennock and many other relatives out east. She had many special friends including Keith and Lois, Daniel, Joyce, Marianne Routh, Bob and Shirley, and Amie Dupont and countless other friends she made during her life. She also had a God Daughter named Virginia who she loved as her own. Marianne grew up in Winnipeg Manitoba where she went to school at General Vanier, Believeau Collegiate, and St. Marys Academy where she was very active in sports including bowling, volleyball, track, swimming, baseball and basketball. She also spent a lot if time growing up on the Zeber farm in Komarno MB where she had a huge love for animals. She also enjoyed picking mushrooms and berries on the farmland. Marianne was a waitress at a couple of popular bars in Winnipeg before moving out to Campbell River in 1992. She enjoyed the outdoors and would make money by going mushroom picking, salal picking and firewood cutting with her late husband Dave. Marianne was a big-hearted caring lady who opened her doors and heart for her friends and family in time of need. She will be missed by family and friends and never forgotten. Services for Marainne will be held at Sutton's Funeral Home, 502 S. Dogwood St., Campbell River, BC on Saturday Nov. 1st, 2008 at 11:00a.m.
