Margaret Louise Haines (nee Henshall)
November 19, 1925–March 10, 2009
Following a brief illness, Louise passed away peacefully in Campbell River General Hospital. Louise was born in Victoria, BC and lived on the west coast of Vancouver Island before settling on Quadra Island and then Campbell River.
Predeceased in March 2007 by her husband of 61 years, Buford. Also predeceased by brothers, Barry, Robert, David Henshall and by nephew Barry Henshall.
Survived by son Larry (Pat) Haines of North Vancouver and grandson Geoff of Victoria. Also, daughter Lynda (Glenn) Grycan, granddaughter Vicki (Dan) Lagos of Campbell River, and grandson Dean (Maria) Grycan of Van Nuys, California.
She also leaves her beloved great-grandchildren Brady and Mackenna Lagos.
Louise is survived by her brother Russ (Janet) Henshall of Duncan, BC. She leaves to mourn many special nieces and nephews and special friend, Frieda Ruff.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at New Horizons Care for making Louise’s last year so comfortable, as well as the amazing nurses on the 3rd floor Campbell River Hospital, whose compassion was endless this past week.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 1:00pm at Elk Falls Cremation and Reception Centre – Elk Falls Cemetery, Hwy. 28 at General Hill, Campbell River.
