Lees, Margaret Johnson
Passed away quietly in Campbell River Hospital Saturday the 4th of May at age 78.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas Lees in 1996 she is survived by her son Brian(Deanne) Lees and stepdaughter Katherine Blackwell as well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret survived cancer in the early 70’s, once again in 1983. Cancer returned once again over the last year. Her spirit stayed strong throughout her last battle with the disease, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 South Dogwood Saturday May 11th at 11a.m. Followed by a Tea at the Campbell River Legion at 12 noon.
The family would like to thank the Nurses of the Campbell River Hospital for their loving care, compassion and fond memories over the last two months. And to her many friends for their undying support to both Margaret and her family.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Campbell River Hospital Fund would be greatly appreciated.
