Lister Fleming
Passed peacefully at Yucalta Lodge, Campbell River, B.C., Wednesday morning, August 28, 2002. He was born August 13, 1914 in Scotch Bay, Manitoba, and married the former Lily Seymour on June 4th, 1935.
Lister is survived by five children: David (Keri), Claremont, Australia; Maisie (Bert Lukacin) North Bay, ON; Lorna, Ucluelet, B.C.; L.J. “Jim” (Helma) Winnipeg Beach, MB and Ronald (Barbara), Kamloops, B.C. Beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, he is survived by his dear sister Alice (Chris), brother Albert, and many nephews and nieces.
Friends and relatives will recall Lister’s knack for story-telling as demonstrated in his book, “Musings” which he had printed in his seventies.
Because of his abiding faith, he now rests with his Lord. If desired, donations to the Yucalta Lodge, c/o The Campbell River Hospital and Yucalta Lodge foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 31st at 10:00a.m. from the Chapel of Sutton’s Funeral Home.
