LINDA SPRINGER

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a very special lady. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother and a very special friend to many. Linda was only 65 years old.

Left to cherish her memory are Mervin, her devoted husband of 48 years, four daughters Cathy Georgeson (Dave), Theresa Advocaat (Doug), Patricia Fehr (Dwaine) and Lisa Lundie (Terry). Linda is also survived by her nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Linda is survived by her brothers and Sisters Ed (Angie), Norman (Carol), John (Caroline), Larry (Lynda), Susan (Ken), Marleen, Debbie (Larry), Robin (Sandra) and families. Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many additional family members and friends, all across Canada.

Linda was born in Hamilton, Ontario and moved to Saskatchewan where she met the love of her life Mervin. They married had their children and in 1976 moved to Vancouver Island and settled in Campbell River where she lived until her passing.

During her lifetime Linda was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, a Sunday School teacher at the Lutheran Church and was a canvasser for the Heart Foundation.

Celebration of Life will take place at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River on Thursday 26th August 2010 at 2.00pm.

In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations in Memory of Linda may be made to Cops for Cancer or a charity of your choice.
