Lester Russell
Aged 76 years, passed away at the Campbell River District Hospital on September 11th, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Newcastle, Bridge, New Brunswick. Les is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Gertrude, his brother Harold (Ellen) of New Brunswick; sisters Ruby Bunnell of Alberta, Brenda DeSpres (Willie) of New Brunswick. Several nieces and nephews. Les was a member of The Eagles F.O.E. Branch #3097 and Reac., also The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #137.
A celebration of life service for Les will be held Monday, September 16th, 2002 at 1:00 pm. from the Eagles Hall, 1999 14th. Ave., Campbell River. No flowers by request. If desired donations to the Charity of ones choice.
