Born April 13th, 1983 in Campbell River, Khalid was taken from us suddenly and tragically on Friday, Sept. 27th.
Predeceased by his father Greg McBurney; Survived by his mother Cheryl (Brian), sister Amanda (Scott), his niece Summer, his Uncle Mark and Aunty Pam, his Judge grandparents and McBurney grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place
That no one could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
Prayers were held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 34 S. Alder Street, C.R. on Tuesday, Oct. 1st at 8pm where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 11am with reception to follow in church hall.
