PORTER,Kempton

September 14, 1967-May 3, 2005

Kempton suddenly and sadly left us on this day.

He was predeceased by his father, Harold.

He leaves behind, “The Parents,” Audrey and Martin Wagner.

His sister Carol (Scott).

Stepsisters: Tracy (Brent), and Janice. Stepbrother Harlow (Jo-ann).

Nieces and nephews: Candice, Kendal, Sarah, Chad, Jordan, Christina, Kathryn, Rachael, Joshua and Aaron.

Grandmother Anna Wagner, aunts, uncles, cousins, also many good friends in Campbell River and Edmonton.

Kempton spent his childhood and early adult-hood in Campbell River. He moved to Kamloops area for a couple of years before moving to Edmonton. Edmonton is where he found his niche in life. He became a professional building sider. He loved to do this work. While visiting he would take us to his job sites. We were very impressed with all of his accomplishments.

He enjoyed spending time with his buddies, golfing, snowmobiling, but fishing the White Mud and the North Saskatchewan River was his passion, always looking for that big sturgeon or pike.

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Falls Memorial Chapel, General Hill, at Elk Falls Cemetary Highway #28, Campbell River. An entombment at the “Wall of Remembrance” niche wall will follow the service.

The family requests in lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the D.A.R.E. program c/o Scotia Bank, 961 Alder St., P.O. 490, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 5C3 or charity of your choice.
