LATOSKI

Joseph

December 31, 1921 ~ January 13, 2005

Joe passed away in the Campbell River Hospital on the evening of January 13. He will be missed by his son, Terry (Lynn), grandson, Darren (Cyndi) and great granddaughter Kate. He was predeceased by Miriam, his loving wife of 40 years, and his grandson, Michael.

Joe was raised in Wishart, Saskatchewan in a family of 18 children. He left the farm to pursue multiple careers eventually retiring from the Crofton Pulp Mill as Instrument Supervisor.

In his later years Joe moved to Campbell River to be close to his family and has since become a familiar sight walking, or working out at his “club” (gym).

Joe was noted for being able to catch a fish (either salmon or trout) when other people swore that there was none to be had. He also enjoyed many years of hunting. Those who knew him will miss his ever ready smile.

The memorial service will be held at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 2215 Campbell River Road on Friday, January 21 at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, 381-2nd Avenue, Campbell River, BC, V9W 3V1
