John Patrick

Passed away at the Yucalta Lodge on Friday, June 6th, 2008 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his brothers: James, Edward, and Joseph; sisters: Patricia Maximick, and Kathryn (Bunny) Werbiki.

John is survived by his loving wife Mary of 55 years, sons: Brian (Christine) of Nelson BC., Michael (Mella) of Red Deer, Alberta, Paul (Patricia) of Edmonton, Alberta, daughter Kathleen (Dave) Anderson, grandchildren Bijaya, Chultim, Rachel, Heather, Monica, and great grandchild Quintin, sister Margaret O'Neill of Seattle together with many nieces and nephews.

John was a veteran of WWII, and a member of the Campbell River Roman Catholic Church. He worked at Raven Lumber from 1965 to 1987 as the saw filer, and enjoyed carpentry, walking, travelling, hockey and football games. He was an avid fan of the Vancouver Canucks and the BC Lions.

Prayers will be offered at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 12th at 7:00p.m. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 13th at 11:00a.m. with Father Bill MacDonald O.M.I. celebrant.
