Survived also by loyal childhood friends who remained so until the end of his life. John was born March 2, 1945 in Vancouver, BC. In the early 1970’s, he moved to Campbell River where he worked with his brother at M+B Appliances, started by his father. In later years, John became owner of Mullett Mobile Home Sales with Suzzanne. John was always proud to be able to help families starting out in life or hoping to retire in comfort.

John was very proud of his family. Always gave a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen with. Welcomed a new family into his life when a lot of men would have walked away. Loved the babies coming into his life with a passion.

John and Suzzanne moved to Brown’s Bay in 2002 after building their dream home. Loved the joy of cruising the inlets in his boat “Askem II”, jigging for cod and at the end of the night enjoying a crab and a martini.
