Jennette Jefferson was born into a pioneer McConnell family at Gladstone, Manitoba on September 9, 1916 and became a resident of Campbell River in 1997.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stan in 1979, her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one sister, Lucille Curtain, of Coquitlam.
Jen will be missed by her daughter Judy, husband Terry and sons Scott and Brent Kratzmann of Campbell River, and her son, Doug and wife Gill and daughters Lisa and Ashley Jefferson of Comox. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends - especially Bea Mitchell, a longtime friend.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday June 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church at 3rd Avenue and McLean Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
