LAVENDER,Jane McIntosh "Jean"
Aged 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Campbell River & District Hospital on Friday, April 1st, 2005.
She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her husband Ted, of 58 years; son David Lavender (Jane); daughters Cory Andrew (Lee) and Linda Lavender (Vern); grandchildren Kim (Ross), Tim (Gayla), Christeen, Jamie, Patti (John) and Travis (Angela); great grandchildren Mika, Alycia, Jenna and Boden; her brother George, sisters Mary and Edna, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean worked for many years as a volunteer with the Campbell River Hospital Thrift Shop and the Royal Canadian Legion. A gathering of family and friends in celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, April 7th at 2 p.m. from Elk Falls Crematorium, located at ELK FALLS CEMETERY, HIGHWAY 28 at General Hill. ISLAND FUNERAL SERVICES/ELK FALLS CREMATORIUM, Campbell River entrusted with arrangements.
