Jim passed away suddenly at Campbell River Hospital on September 1, 2016. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Marie (nee Brindle) and many family members of both Jim and Marie in Ontario.
Jim was born in Regina, SK and raised in Ontario. He served in the Canadian Army from October 1952 – December 1961. He was a Cpl. in the Far East and Continental Europe. He received the U.N. Service medal and Korean Medal.
Jim and Marie ran the Rec Hall at Western Mines and the Coach Lines Coffee Shop. Jim also had Cowichan Security and Investigations.
A Celebration of Life for Jim will take place this Saturday, September 10th at the Legion, 301-11 Ave in Campbell River at 1:00pm.
