Born, High River alberta Nov. 08, 1932 - Aug. 20, 2006.

Predeceased by Father Harry D. Haynes 1889 - 1939. Mother Selina (MacNeill) Haynes 1898 - 1975. Brother Floyd. Sisters Dorthy, Doris & Lily.

Survived by brothers Harry(Helen) Nanaimo, BC, Dave (Iva) Chilliwack, BC. Many loving nieces and nephews. Beautiful daughter Karen, Vancouver, BC. Survived by wife Joan, Stepfather to Norma, Roger and Lisa. (Our Gramps) to Chantelle, Angie, Ryan, Ken, Greg and Mike, who all had a loving bond with Rusty.

Rusty moved to Campbell River in the late 1960’s went to work in different logging camps. Retired, MacMillan Bloedel, Menzies Bay as boom boat operator 1997. He had a big heart of Gold for all who came into his life. Big tease in a kind way. 29 years of sobriety. Enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing from a boat, 10 pin bowling, sharp pool player. Most of all, he would say “Treat people the way you would want them to treat you, God is Love.” Last nine years, beat cancer, slowly went down hill from Kidney Disease. His Big Heart gave out.
