REMPEL, HENRY
passed away at Campbell River Hospital on Saturday, November 22, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Louisa, sons Henry (Brenda), David (Bea), Ronald (Debbie), daughters Edith (Mark), Hilda (Scott), Mary Louise (Terry). Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Anna Thyer, many nieces and nephews.
Henry was born in Russia, he immigrated to Canada in 1948, met Louisa in Vancouver and they were married in 1956, then moved to Vancouver Island. Henry worked as a carpenter for many years. He started Rempel’s Red Cedar Products which kept him busy till retirement.
His hobbies were fishing, woodworking and gardening. Henry loved the Lord and was devoted to his wife and family. He will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Life Fellowship Chapel, 445 Merecroft Road.
