With great sadness and pain filled hearts we announce the passing of a very special lady.
Glenda was born in the village of Shirebrook, England on December 22, 1936 and passed away Wednesday November 4, 2009 in the Campbell River Hospital after a
very long and brave battle with multiple types of cancer.
Glenda will be forever loved and remembered by her family, relatives and friends. Glenda was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family. Glenda spent her life caring, healing and standing by the ones she loved. Glenda always had time for friends and family and made everyone feel welcome. Glenda was indeed a beautiful woman.
We thank all the Doctors, Nurses, Medical staff and the Palliative Care Home care team for their professional care and support of Glenda during her struggle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11.00am on Friday November 13th 2009 at Suttons Funeral Chapel, 502 South Dogwood, Campbell River. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire donations in memory of Glenda may be made to the Home Care Nursing, 110 Birch Street, Campbell River, BC V9W 2S3.
