Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016 at Campbell River Hospital. She is survived by her husband Douglas; children Harry, Leo (Connie), Brenda (Ted); grandchildren MacKenzie and Mikayla; niece Yuanita (Richard) and nephew Kelly (Sarah). Predeceased by her mother Olga; father Edward; and brother Harry Klatt.
Funeral service to be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Ave., Victoria on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00pm followed by refreshments. In honouring Gesina's wishes, her final resting place will be at Hatley Memorial Gardens as she always wanted Victoria as her final resting place.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Gesina's memory be made to the Salvation Army.
