It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend Geoff Edinger. On May 18, at Campbell River Hospital Geoff ended his courageous battle with cancer. Geoff will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen, son Chase (Jericho), daughter Jessica, siblings Derek and Carol, granddaughter Addison, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Geoff was predeceased by his parents Marjorie & Richard and sister Denise. Geoff had success with all that he turned his hand to, from woodworking to golf and loved puttering in his garage.
He was a great provider to his family as a commercial fisherman from 1970 to 1983 and through working at the Elk Falls Mill from 1983 till it closed down. Geoff claimed that his favorite job of all was retirement. The family would like to thank Dr. Arnold for his excellent care as well as the wonderful Campbell River Chemo Therapy nursing staff. A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 28th at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River.
