SACHT,
Evelyn May
April 29, 1909 - April 19, 2005
Passed away on Monday, April 19, 2005 peacefully in her sleep leaving behind countless friends and beloved family. Evelyn is gone to be reunited with her loving husband Fred. We will miss Evelyn. Evelyn being the daughter of Will and Imogene Kelsey of which Kelsey Bay was named after. Evelyn, AKA Granny, to most everyone who knew her. Sadly, Granny will be leaving us with all her knowledge, stories of the very earliest years of Sayward and its colourful pioneering people. One of my favourite stories was of Chief Harry Moon of the Salmon River People, who had a pet sow that fought off a cougar. Winning the fight much to the joy of the villagers and the sow survived. Evelyn had many stories and memories. She will surely be missed. We love you, good bye.
As to Granny's wishes there will be no service.
