With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Irene Kennedy on Jan. 21, 2008.
Mom was born in Gilva, Wales on March 24, 1920 and immigrated to Canada in 1926. She lived in Prince Albert SK, Ocean Falls BC and Quesnel, BC before moving to Campbell River in 1988.
She is survived by her children Ted (Sharon) Kennedy of Burns Lake, BC, Keith Kennedy of Quesnel, BC, Ken Kennedy of Port Alice, BC and Pat (Frank) Spina of Campbell River, BC Her grandchildren Rick (Shelley) Kennedy of Surrey, BC Bryan Kennedy of Courtenay, BC, Dawn (Greg) Wylie of Sooke, BC, Dean (Erin) Spina of Quesnel, BC and Sean (Shelly) Spina of Port Coquitlam, BC plus six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Bev (Dale) Harte of Calgary, AB and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Everest, Glenys Young, Lillian Glass of Prince Albert, SK. Greta Moore and Brothers Trevor and Bill Moore of Port Alberni, BC plus her parents Albert and Mae Moore.

Service to be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River BC on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 1:00pm.
Donations may be made in Irene’s memory to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or Charity of Choice.
