Grandson of Kathleen Francis - nee Jones of Pachedaht and Herbert Francis of Muchalaht. Grandson of Rose Mary Amos - nee Smith of Ehattesaht and Alex Amos Sr. of Hesquiaht.
Son of Lena Amos - nee Francis of Muchalaht and Moses Amos of Hesquiaht. Predeceased by sisters Irene May, Lena, Louise and brother George. Survived by sisters Loretta Kristenson - nee Amos and husband Scott Kristenson Irene Mae Savoie - nee Amos and husband David Savoie. Survived by brother Harold A. Amos and wife Georgina Amos - nee August of Ehattesaht, numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Eugene was multi talented, gifted and generous. He was employed in various fields of the forestry sector, fishing sector. He worked in different capacities in the political arena, educational systems well as numerous volunteer organizations. He loved life, people, nature and the resources.
He will be dearly missed by associates, friends, acquaintances, relatives and family.
